Academic delegation of Rana University held a meeting with Ms. Spozhmay Wardak, Deputy Minister for Women Affairs & Plan and Policy, Afghanistan on December 23, 2019. The academic delegation of the university was led by Mr. Sayed Mustafa Sayedi, Academic VC, Rana University accompanied by Mr. Zabihullah Afrah, Dean of Law and Political Science Faculty, Mr. Abdul Saboor Ghafori, Dean of Journalism and Mass Communication Faculty, Dr. Sarwa Rasa Rafizada, Head of Rana Research Center and Ms. Zamira Azimi, Gender Department Manager, Rana University. The delegation received a warm welcome at the honourable Deputy Minister’s office and was given ample opportunities to share their ideas with the honourable deputy minister in a friendly environment. Mr. Sayed Mustafa Sayedi, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Rana University initially briefed the honourable Deputy Minister about the achievements and noteworthy growth of the university in a comparatively lesser time in addition to the university’s future plans for educating the youth in the country on modern and most sophisticated educational parameters. Besides, Mr. Sayed Mustafa Sayedi also paid a hearty tribute to the Ministry for Women Affairs, Afghanistan for extending valuable support to the university on all occasions.
Ms. Spozhmay Wardak, the Deputy Minister for Women Affairs & Plan and Policy appreciated the overall achievements and good work which is being done by Rana University with special reference to promoting woman education in the country and emphasized ensuring updated measures to double up the attraction of women to education. The honourable Deputy Minister promised to continue supporting Rana University for all its future endeavors. The meeting ended with the delegation presenting a collection of books as Rana Research Products to the honourable deputy minister which received due appreciation from the honourable Deputy Minister.
