Background:
RANA University is an institution established in 2009 and registered with the Ministry of Higher Educations of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. The establishment of RU is coinciding with the intense need of contribution to the rehabilitation and rebuilding process of Afghanistan in the higher and professional education sector. RU as an institution to provide higher education has set goals that are future-oriented, professional and skill based meeting the needs of today and the future in the contemporary education disciplines of business administration, computer science, mass communication, economics and English language in degree, diploma and certificate programs. In addition, RU provides training and development sessions on various subjects based on the market demands.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate task with software developer
- Provide data management support to developer
- Responsible for updating Rana University website
- Solving Rana University Students Problems Specially Females Students
- Facilitate communication between developers and Head of Department
- Perform other task as part of the team, whenever required or needed in order to optimize the resources and to contribute with his/her knowledge and experience
- Provides information by answering questions and requests.
- Meet with customer and project sponsor to gather requirements and discuss the project status
Skills required:
- Strong fundamentals in Computer Science concepts.
- Ability to adapt and to solve problems proactively, productively, and creatively
- Knowledge of software development and user interface web applications
- Familiarity working with .Net Framework, JavaScript, HTML, Laravel and Oracle
- An ability to understand front-end user’s requirements and a problem-solving attitude
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to cultivate and maintain relationships.
- Teaching Skill
- Having documentation and organizational skills.
- Having a competent judgment to inform problems to superiors on time.
- Being deadline oriented.
Qualifications required:
- Education: At least Bachelor degree in Computer Science, computer application, information technology or any other related field.
- Attested, original qualification documents is required from Ministry of Higher Education of Afghanistan.
- Experience: At least one year experience in the related field.
- Language Skill: Fluent oral, written, and comprehensive skills in English and knowing Dari & Pashto would be an asset.
- Other Skills: Must be hard worker and honest having strong teaching skill & knowledge.
